Who are STIPE?

STIPE was born sometime around 1998 as a mock up clan. It consisted of only 3 members and had no intentions of becoming a serious clan. Now STIPE is a well known name for not only just being one of the oldest CS/CSS Gaming clans in Australia consisting of over 30 members but now a large provider of Counter-Strike Source and Call of Duty 4 servers.

What started this gaming server craze?

Simple answer: We wanted our own servers. At that time there weren’t many game server rental companies around. So we started by hosting a single 10 player CS1.6 server on a simple box with a simple internet connection. Realising that we needed more power and better net connection, we kept upgrading slowly. Eventually we began leasing out servers to help pay off the expenses.  But it didn’t stop there. As the clan’s growth climbed up to 30+ members we soon realised that a much bigger server would be needed with a larger customer base to help pay off the servers. [-STIPE-]CRaZY being a software engineer began construction of a control panel and ways to improve server performance. In just 5 months STIPE grew from a customer base of 5 servers to 60 servers.

To this day, STIPE will remain with a 50 to 60 customer base which allows them to run a couple of public servers and war servers of their own and provide a fun and exciting gaming environment for Australian Gamers

We have over 7 years of experience in many types of server tasks, ranging from enterprise business servers to performance gaming servers.

STIPE never overload their servers! - Our servers are sold on the assumption that all game servers will be FULL at any given time and the server must handle this with 60% Resources to spare. This also means that we will be limited in stock. Once we reach a certian limit, we stop selling
